ABOUT US
We believe, everybody can learn watercolor painting fast, achieving excellent results
About me
I'm Vitalii Dets, a watercolor artist, educator, and innovator focused on finding faster, more effective ways to learn and create. Over 20 years, I developed and tested my watercolor learning method through 370 masterclasses with more than 10,000 students and created 11 innovative watercolor products and learning tools—including guided workbooks, pre-mixed palettes, and complete painting systems designed to remove common obstacles and help beginners progress with confidence.
This approach to efficient learning extends beyond painting: I hold two degrees from Ukraine and Germany, including a degree in management, speak seven languages, and in 2014 was selected as a TOYP finalist (Top Outstanding Young Persons of Ukraine). Since 2009, I have also developed a practical method for generating hundreds of ideas and accessing inspiration, which became a central concept in my debut novel, The Photon Trap.
Today, with thousands of disconnected tutorials competing for attention, I want to offer something different: a clear path from learning watercolor to creating independently. Here I share full-length masterclasses, my innovative watercolor tools, creative exercises, personal feedback, and unique methods for accessing inspiration—with one goal: help you learn faster, build confidence, and create original art without depending on tutorials.
